Am I guaranteed to pass the RHCSA or RHCE exam after completing the RHCSA / RHCE preparation class?

No. This class will not guarantee that anyone will pass any exam.

Is attendance taken in the RHCSA / RHCE preparation class?

A:

Yes. According to the ACC attendance policy, there will be a maximum of three (3) absences permitted. If a student misses more than three (3) class sessions, the completion certificate may be withheld.

Is there a grade given for the RHCSA / RHCE preparation class?

A:

The RHCSA / RHCE preparation class is a Continuing Education class, and the student is given a "pass"/"fail" status at the end of the class. A certificate of completion is offered for those who earn the "pass" status. In order to earn a "pass" status and certificate of completion, the student must attend class and demonstrate an understanding of and proficiency in the material that is offered.

What are the requisites for the RHCSA/RHCE class?

A:

This is a fast-paced course that will remain focused on the listed curriculum. Interested students should have the following background:

  • At least one year administration experience in a Linux or Unix production environment.
  • Completion of the LPIC-1 & LPIC-2 Series.
  • Familiarity with a command line editor such as Vim (preferred) or nano, etc.
